Heroes for Children has adopted 72 families (205 children and teens) this year for the annual Holiday Heroes program.  Holiday Heroes is a special program that utilizes the resources of our HFC women's auxiliary and a few partners to adopt children with cancer and their siblings for the holidays.  HFC members shop, wrap and then deliver gifts to the kids at a party with all the frills including an appearance from Santa!  We are so thankful to our generous donors, sponsors and HFC Friends members for contributing to this very special program for so many deserving families!

Swing Fore! Yellow Golf tournament will be September 24, 2012 at Gleneagles Country Club in Plano, TX! Funds raised will locally benefit Heroes for Children and globally benefit LIVESTRONG.  

This premier golf event, in it 4th year, is widely recognized as one of the best charity golf events in North Texas.

On Saturday, June 23, 2012, the Houston members of Generation HEROES hosted a Family Movie Day to provide 24 very deserving families a fun outing.  They reserved a theater at Studio Movie Grille so the families could come watch the Disney movie Brave on its opening weekend, along with lunch, drinks and popcorn.  Generation HEROES provided face painting, archery lessons, and even arranged a special appearance by Princess Merida!

Heroes for Children is happy to partner with TJ Zizzo, Top Fuel Driver of the National Hot Rod Association, to create an awesome experience for the families that we serve in the Greater Houston Area.
