Why Houston?

Texas Children's Hospital in Houston sees an average of 325 newly diagnosed patients each year with a form of childhood cancer (compare to roughly 400 at the three DFW hospitals). M.D. Anderson, a smaller facility for pediatric oncology, sees near 100 patients. The need for an organization such as Heroes for Children is great.

Attendance: 500

Event Purpose: The purpose of the event is to raise funds so that

the agency may continue in its mission to “provide financial and social

assistance to families, within the state of Texas, with children (0-22

years of age) who are battling cancer.”

Event Format: Seated brunch with silent and live auction of one of a kind vintage and

new designer handbags. Informal fashion presentation.

Attire: Casual chic with a fabulous handbag!

Underwriting levels: $15,000, $10,000, $7,500, $5,000, $3,000, $1,800 (Sold out at $1,800)

Live Auction: To be held at Underwriting Party hosted by Polo's Restaurant
