Join Heroes for Children in making a memorable Holiday experience for families in Texas who have a child battling cancer.

Due to rising costs and feedback from our hospital partners, we will not be fulfilling gift wish lists this year. Instead, we will be accepting gift card donations and goodie bag donations to fulfill our mission of providing financial assistance to families battling childhood cancer. Be a "Holiday Heroes" partner and help us make the event extra special for the families.
Our local hospitals have nominated families who are experiencing a deep financial strain and who would benefit from a fun afternoon with their family, away from their everyday battle with cancer. Each family who attends will be treated to a holiday party with other cancer families, a generous gift card to be used by the family to purchase holiday gifts and each will also receive a family gift.
With your help, we will be able to go above and beyond in helping serve these families during the holidays. Below are 3 ways you can help us add to the experience. No shopping required!
$200 | Family Holiday Gift Card
Sponsor a Holiday shopping experience for families. HFC will provide gift cards for families (based on the size of the family) to shop for gifts or other expenses.
$350 | Holiday Experience
Sponsor a family's Holiday Hero Experience, includes:

Donation and Volunteer Opportunities
Partner Donation Drive Opportunities*
If you would like to donate in-kind items, they must be delivered to our team by November 18th to be included in the event. We will have 35 families in attendance. Please donate one for each family. Items could include:

Essential Gift Cards (Transportation, Gas, Food, Grocery, etc.)

Family Fun Gift Cards (Movie Theater, Bowling, Ice Skating, Mini Golf, etc.)
-
Bag for a Family (Build a Gift Bag filled with items for families to enjoy at home, including: game, holiday treat, candle, small blanket, craft, etc.)
*Items must be approved by Heroes as we have a lot of interest in this opportunity.

This program is only open to current oncology patients at one of HFC ‘s partner hospitals. All applicants are verified and provided to HFC through their Social Worker.
