Before April 2026, my favorite job was being the boss. Even though I’m six years old and the third of four brothers, I’m usually the one keeping everyone in line—with my big laugh and unstoppable smile. Our house is always loud, fun, and full of movement. Then my stomach started hurting, and it began to look really swollen. Mom took me to the emergency room, and that’s when the doctors found something called a Wilms’ tumor. It was a huge surprise, and suddenly everything changed. My brothers don’t fully understand all the big medical words yet—they just know I’m sick right now. But even though things are different, I haven’t stopped smiling or telling them what to do.
We are still new to this cancer journey, but I’ve already finished my very first round of chemo. It’s tough, but I’m tougher. I have a road ahead of me, but I’m ready. I’m Cyrin, and I’m going to keep smiling, keep laughing, and keep fighting this fight.
