Heroes for Children is proud to recognize Jim Adler & Associates as the presenting sponsor of our 2026 Virtual Summer Camp program, helping bring the joy of summer camp directly to children who are currently battling cancer or have completed treatment.
For many childhood cancer families, attending a traditional summer camp simply isn't possible due to ongoing treatments, compromised immune systems, travel limitations, or recovery. Heroes for Children created its Virtual Summer Camp to meet children exactly where they are—at home, in the hospital, or wherever their cancer journey has taken them.
Through interactive activities, special guests, creative projects, games, and opportunities to connect with other children who understand their experience, Virtual Summer Camp provides moments of joy, friendship, and normalcy during an incredibly difficult time.
Jim Adler & Associates is a Texas-based personal injury law firm with law offices in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Channelview. They’ve served the legal needs of thousands of Texans who were harmed by others’ negligence due to a car accident, 18-wheeler accident, work accidents, and more.
Jim Adler & Associates' commitment to serving the community made this partnership a natural fit. While the law firm has supported charitable organizations for decades, its official Hammer Helps program was established in 2021 to expand its impact and invest in causes that strengthen communities across Texas. Their sponsorship ensures that families facing childhood cancer can participate in Virtual Summer Camp free of charge, creating meaningful experiences and lasting memories throughout the summer.
"Summer should be a time for children to laugh, learn, and make memories, and a cancer diagnosis shouldn't take that away. Thanks to the generous support of Jim Adler & Associates and their Hammer Helps program, we're able to bring the camp experience directly to children wherever they are—whether at home or in the hospital. Their partnership helps create moments of joy, connection, and hope for families during one of the most challenging seasons of their lives."
— Kelly Kosikowski, Director of Development, Heroes for Children
Heroes for Children advocates for and provides financial and social assistance to families with children (0–22 years of age) battling cancer. Social programs like Virtual Summer Camp help combat the isolation that often accompanies a childhood cancer diagnosis while reminding children that they are never alone.
Heroes for Children extends its sincere appreciation to Jim Adler & Associates and the Hammer Helps program for investing in hope and helping create a summer filled with fun, friendship, and encouragement for families across Texas.
